By placing an order with Little Doves you will be agreeing to the following terms and conditions.  Every effort is made to represent the items accurately on this website.

1. Payment Options.

Little Doves accepts all major debit/credit cards and provides secure payment systems:
- in conjunction with Stripe Payments Europe Ltd
- in conjunction with PayPal, a reputable and longstanding, secure internet credit card payment gateway.PayPal. is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an electronic money institution.

Please note you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay us via PayPal. On the PayPal login screen, click Don't have a PayPal account
Transactions will show bank statement as PAYPAL *LITTLEDOVES

We understand some customers may be wary entering credit card details online.  Please be assured that we do not receive any of your credit card information as it goes directly our payment processors.
Little Doves also accepts payment via personal cheque made payable to Linda Patrick. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been cleared. If placing an order outside the UK, your credit card company will convert any orders placed with Little Doves from U.K. Pounds Sterling into your local currency when they process the transaction. Please remember exchange rates vary all the time.

2. Packaging

All merchandise is sent in a presentation box and gowns are covered in acid free tissue paper.

3. Returns

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will endeavour to rectify the situation. When placing your order, please ensure you choose the correct size as items cannot be returned if the sizing is incorrect.  Please also ensure all the information regarding spellings given by you on the order form is correct as any discrepancies cannot be altered once the item has been made up.
If goods are to be returned they should be sent back in perfect condition, with all tags and labels intact and in their original packaging, within 7 days of the invoice.  We will be happy to offer you an exchange or refund.
We cannot accept responsibility for parcels being returned to us that are lost in transit and strongly advise that returns are sent special delivery.  Should you receive faulty items, we will pay for return postage, otherwise, goods are returned at your own expense. Please include your original receipt with the goods being returned.

4. Purchasing Gowns

We are always interested in buying antique christening wear. Seller is responsible for all shipping costs on items sent on approval.

5. Quality of Goods

All products supplied by Little Doves are of the highest quality and are suitable for the use and purpose for which they were originally intended. These garments are not intended as sleepwear.

6. Privacy

The personal information that we ask of you is confidential. We do not give out or sell your email address, phone number, or credit card information to any other Companies or Institutions. For more information, please see our full privacy policy

7. Delivery

All Victorian gowns and small orders are normally dispatched within 10 working days of receipt of order. Orders for the bespoke service and Cathedral Collection may take up to 28 days.  In this case, the delivery date will be agreed with the customer when the order is placed.  Unless otherwise agreed, all orders worth under £30 (excluding postage) are posted by Royal Mail Recorded Signed For. All other orders sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery.A signature will be required on receipt of delivery. Cost of delivery to overseas addresses (either by Royal Mail Airmail or other couriers) will be given on confirmation of order.

9. Holds

When you place an order from the Victorian Collection we will place it on hold for five days. If paying by cheque, confirmation on the order must be received within the “HOLD” period and payment made within seven days.

When ordering we do ask that you give a telephone number where we can reach you quickly, in case there is a question or problem with your order.

10. Layaway

You may Layaway any of our items for up to 8 weeks with a 20% deposit. The deposit payment must be paid within 5 days. Layaway payments are non-refundable. For more information, contact us
