Louisa Edwardian Christening Gown
The Louisa Edwardian Christening gown is a delightful example of 1900s' styling. This late Victorian Christening gown is understated and charming and ideal for both boys and girls.
Made from 100% cotton muslin, the high yoke is simply detailed with vertical rows of lace. The sleeves are long and trimmed with pretty lace. This lace also trims the neckline and the frills over the shoulders.
The cotton skirt is moderate in length and plain until the hemline. Then it is trimmed with a broderie anglais frill and insert lace.
All in all this is a lovely unisex gown, that is sure to become a family heirloom.
