Ella Edwardian Christening Gown
A truly wonderful example of fine Edwardian craftsmanship in good condition. Typical of the period the yoke is detailed by vertical bands of embroidered lace. A thin yokeband joins the skirt to the high yoke. The gown skirt is fullsome and flows down to the most beautiful lace, very fine and delicate and some of the finest lace that I have seen.
The skirt also has added horizontal pin tuck bands for decoration. This gown has been created in the softest cotton lawn, it may be advisable to wear it with a small Edwardian style petticoat underneath.
This is a very beautiful Edwardian gown, perfect for spring and summer Christenings. There are three tiny tiny darns to the front of the gown but please do not let this put you off, they are hardly noticable and do hind in the folds of the skirt. The price of the gown has been reduced though to reflect this.
