The detail on the front yoke is a stunning example of extremely fine English cotton lacework, which falls to a gentle point to join the full skirt. Long sleeves are softly gathered and edged with thin cotton lace trim and fine eyelet bands. The sumptuously wide skirt gently falls to a wonderfully decorated hemline comprising rows and rows of pintucks and three types of cotton and muslin lace. This gown is beautiful.
