It is very rare to find a lace gown of such fine quality. The three layers of cotton lace and the wonderful cotton lace hem are perfect.

The long, long skirt softly gathers into a pretty little yoke that is decorated in a smaller version of the cotton lace that decorates the hemline. It is made up of verttical strips of lace and tiny, tiny pintucks. The most beautiful thin eyelet lace join yoke to skirt. Cotton lace edging trims the high neck as well as the sleeves which are gathered into the same pretty decoratedeyelet lace trim.

Thiis really is a wonderful example of Edwardian elegance and well worth preservation to become a treasured heirloom.
