New for the Spring season Little Doves presents the Isabella Dress. This couture christening dress is beautifully designed and features delicate hand embroidery on silk dupion. The bodice has dainty flower embroidery which has been taken from an original Victorian design. A Peter Pan collar and silk neckband finish the dress off perfectly. The short sleeves are fullsome and gathered into tiny cuffs.
The skirt is full and embroidered with a lovely Celtic cross and again small flowers taken from original Victorian patterns.

Following the popularity of the demand for the Lincoln Cathedral Christening Gown we are pleased to announce for 2011 the lastest addition to the Lincoln Cathedral family...... the Lincoln Cathedral Christening Dress. And what a dress this is....... cute, delicate and so chic........
As with the original Lincoln Cathedral Gown, this dress has been lovingly created to honour the wonderful life of St Hugh, a former Bishop of Lincoln. The design has been inspired by St Hugh’s closest friend, that of a white swan. He took inspiration from the swan when designing the roof vaults of St Hugh’s Choir. They are said to replicate the bird stretching its half-folded wings ready to fly.

This delightful little creation is ideal for those summer baptisms when you want the feel of something grand but without the length of a full christening Gown. The Anastasia Christening dress has been created with older babies in mind but is equally as beautiful on tiny tots as well!
Made from 100%cotton lawn, the skirt has rows and rows of tiny pintucks, separated by the most gorgeous cotton insert lace ever. The skirt is fullsome and joins the bodice with tiny gathers. Based on a Victorian pattern the bodice is decorated wth lace insert panels. Wide lace robings continue from the skirt, through the bodice and over the shoulder to create the most beautiful sleeves. A lovely lace frill completes the decoration on this little dress.

This little Edwardian dress is gorgeous and will make any little girl a princess on her baptism day. Based on an original Edwardian pattern this dress has everything to make a it an heirloom to treasure.... Edwardian styling, embroidered front panel, embroidered sleeve detail, pintucks, lace trim. The high necked yoke is decorated with lovely English cotton lace. The long sleeves are also trimmed with cotton lace and are gently gathered into the yoke. The skirt is fullsome and trimmed with narrow pintucks. Central to the design is the delicate hand embroidery on the front of the skirt. Based on an Edwardian embroidery pattern, daisies and leaves intertwine and a beautiful Celtic cross finishes the design perfectly. The sleeve also has a beautiful touch, the initials of the baby are delicately embroidered into a small flowered heart. Finally the skirt is trimmed with lovely broderie anglais lace.

Once again Linda Patrick has designed a truly unique christening dress simply ideal for the forthcoming spring baptisms. Due to demand for short styles Little Doves has come up with the Cassie Christening Dress, a 100% pure silk dupion hand smocked dress complete with hand embroidery to personalise the garment.
The Cassie dress has an elaborate smocked front bodice featuring over five different smocking stitches to give a luxurious feel to the dress. The full skirt falls away from the smocking to the ankle. A hand embroidered cross with swirls and flowers compliments the design. Short puff sleeves finish the design perfectly.

New for 2011 and part of the Scottish Collection, the Savannah Christening Dress is ideal for summer baptisms. Understated in its simplicity, the whole focus is on the delicately hand embroidered crest centred in the middle of the bodice front. The gown has no collar so that the eye is drawn solely to the embroidery. The bodice is finished with tartan trim threaded through some beautiul insert lace.
The short puffed sleeves are softly fitted into the bodice and gently gather at the cuff. The short skirt is softly gathered into the waistline with the bodice.
